As I mentioned in my last post I am writing a small static site for a relative’s business and I wanted to show an image gallery of their work that would be easy to update as new content arrived.
A simple search landed me at nanoGallery, a jQuery plugin to create an image gallery with tons of options. For my use case the ability to automatically integrate with Flickr was a bonus. My cousin can simply update pictures to Flickr and know that they will be automatically available on her site.
The code to get a gallery from flickr is pretty simple:
$('#galleryDiv').nanoGallery({
kind: 'flickr',
userID: '<your-flickr-id>'
});
